Hello there...
We are avid divers that got fed up dealing with rouges in the diving industry that offer lots and deliver less than they promise after payment received. I have been doing drysuit repairs for about 7 years for myself, friends and friends of friends.
I decided that I would expand this into a business as I was already an importer of various dive products such as Weezle drysuit undergarments. Last year in the U.K I had my products, skill set and processes evaluated by a drysuit manufactuer and a little bit of extra training.
Unlike most drysuit repairers we remove all of the old seals prior to affixing new seals. Old degrading seals can act like a disease that permeate, and cause rapid degredation of the new seals that are glued over the top.
I operate from a large workshop situated at the back of my house so have less costs than those operating from a shop front, which I am able to then offer cheaper repair costs.
My wife and self regularly travel the world diving deep newly found wrecks and the not so new.
A lot of our diving is in areas that are very cold water. Norway, Shetland Isles, Melbourne and our regular Scapa Flow Scotland. We obviously need reliable drysuits that do not fail halfway through a dive leaving us with 1-2 hours of wet deco in 7degree water.
We would like to offer the same to our customers.
I am happy to give free advice and will always bend over backwards for my customers.
Helen and myself own about 8 drysuits between ourselves, worked in the retail scuba industry for about a year and we have since worked our way up to full trimix/dive con and cavern and sinkhole diver. We know what divers need and want.
